FLOOD PREVENTION
Another result of cold weather is the flight of the snowbirds heading down south and leaving their homes. Many left their homes vulnerable to water damage by not shutting off the water mains. We get a couple calls a year from a customer that will leave for a month or two and come back to a house destroyed from a water break and running unchecked. We have partnered with a product called leak SMART that can sense a water leak and shut the water off immediately. The brain of the system is located on a solenoid valve that will shut off when any of the wireless sensors have any contact with water. This unit can also be connected to an app on your smartphone and alert you when something happens. You can even shut the valve off remotely on the app. We have a working example of this unit in our showroom. So come on in and see!
